The Merlin Pre-Conditioning System is the ultimate protection for on-line process gas analysers and equipment against particulates, liquids and mists found in process gases. It employs a patented, innovative multi-stage separation technology that protects on-line gas analysers over a wide range of operating conditions.

Proven in petrochemical plants, with a completely mechanical design for easy installation in hazardousareas, the Merlin separates particulates, liquids and mists from process gases using a unique combination of cyclone separation, adhesion and non-splashing techniques. It has no filter element, so there are no replacement costs or downtime. Employing an innovative low flow cyclone, the Merlin separator is specially designed to work optimally at the low flow rates (60-350 Nl/h) commonly found in the analyser systems.
