A safe, simple and precise solution to slurry density measurement in harsh industrial environments

Rhosonics’ Slurry Density Meter (SDM) is a highly sophisticated instrument designed to measure the density of mineral slurries in real-time. Using a nonintrusive ultrasonic sensor, the SDM measures slurry density with great precision, even under high-density conditions and in large or partially filled pipelines. The sensors, made from highly abrasion-resistant materials, are engineered for durability, making the SDM highly suitable for use in harsh industrial environments. Despite its advanced technological capabilities, the SDM is simple to install and maintain, facilitating seamless integration into existing processes.

In November 2023, Rhosonics unveiled the latest version of its density measurement technology, the SDM ECO. The new model represents a significant upgrade from the superseded SDM-4, offering enhanced precision, faster response times, an expanded operating temperature range, and an improved sensor design. In addition, the SDM ECO features versatile control options, including a 7-inch touchscreen display, laptop connectivity, optional Wi-Fi, and remote operation via a network or cloud server.
