Pollutec Horizons (France) attracted 45,397 professionals over its four days in Paris last November. Pollutec Horizons convincingly demonstrated that the integration of new environmental and sustainable development challenges alongside pollution prevention and treatment techniques really answered the expectations of manufacturers, local
authority managers and specifiers.
Excluding exhibitors, the total number of visitors rose to 35,980, a 10% rise on Pollutec 2005. The international market was well represented and accounted for 15% of the visitor total, with 5,446
professionals from 103 countries attending the show (+11.4% compared
with 2005). For its first outing under the Pollutec Horizons brand, the show was a total success, with 1,451 exhibitors from 35 countries occupying 51,600m2 (5% more than in 2005).
Buy&Care, the first ethical buying show for professionals, attracted some sixty exhibitors occupying 700 m2 of exhibition space. On the visitor front, 43% were interested in visiting both Buy&Care et Pollutec Horizons and 1,420 stated that ethical buying was their principal area of interest.
