Are you sure you measure the TRUE TOC? We ensure you do!

TRUE TOC means the continuous measurement of the total sum of dissolved and undissolved organic carbon present in waste water. For two different reasons we can say that our analysers measure the TRUE TOC and not just the TOC.

Firstly, LAR devices analyse raw waste water samples; without filtration, dilution or reagents, the sample is lead directly into the analysers reactor. Obviously, this means that the measurement outcome truly corresponds to the waste water's content.

Secondly, the analysers are based upon a thermal oxidation technique at 1200 degrees Celsius. At this high temperature the raw waste water samples are oxidized 100 precent. Even the compounds that are difficult to oxidize are completely cracked at this temperature.

Our analysers offer the highest combustion temperature available on the market.

Additionaly, our analysers are quick. Within minutes any changes of the sample are recorded and shown in peaks, the recovery is instantaneous.
