Greenlab’s ADEM represents the next generation in ISO 6614 and ASTM D1401 method compliance for demulsibility/water separability testing. In terms of ISO 6614 and ASTM D1401 methods, the only competitive instruments available on the market are either manual or semi-automated models. In case of high sample throughput these instruments demand continuous attention and manpower.

ADEM is an ideal tool for petroleum industry quality control and R&D laboratories that need to perform demulsibility tests on lubricants and turbine oils, compressor oils and engine oils, as well as synthetic fluids used in hydraulic and mechanic systems. It is also perfect for base oil investigations, when operators need to check and control base oil characteristics due to the formation of emulsion. Producers of lube oils and lubricants will also find that ADEM is well suited for quality control of their final and intermediate and operators at high capacity blending plants can use ADEM for demulsibilty tests, a key parameter for optimising compositions.
