TSHR International developed a new application note for the ultra-low ppb level analysis of Total Nitrogen in benzene samples based on high temperature combustion with chemiluminescence detection in compliance with ASTM D7184 method.

The analysis of a set of benzene samples with the TSHR TN 7000 model instrument provides customers significant savings on analysis time, gasses and less risk of potential contamination issues. The obtained results shows a high precision at these ultra-low levels of nitrogen content in these aromatic hydrocarbon samples.

The advantage of temperature controlled sample introduction and vertical positioned combustion tube with the TN 7000 ensures an excellent performance with ease of use operation.

The used TSHR liquids autosampler, HR 7100 model, with 121 positions for 2 mL vials drives the productivity and repeatability of the data as presented in the application note.
