Waterproof Connections for Hazardous Environments

The Bulgin EXPlora range of environmentally sealed circular connectors from Elektron Technology (UK) is designed and approved for use in ATEX Zone 2 and Zone 22 applications, providing fast and easy screw fixing connections without the need for special tooling. The EXPlora series builds on the success of Bulgin’s renowned Buccaneer range of compact IP66, IP68 and IP69K rated connectors, offering the convenience and flexibility of these robust, dust and waterproof connectors for an even wider range of applications.

EXPlora connectors are manufactured from durable UL94V-0 rated polycarbonate materials, and work in ambient temperatures from -20 to +55 ^oC. They are designed for a wide variety of applications requiring secure, reliable and easy to terminate connections, with a choice of 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 10 pole variants and positive location keyways to prevent incorrect coupling. Alongside the recently launched Buccaneer 6000 series and the new Buccaneer 7000 series of push-pull connectors, these robust and convenient connectors provide maximum flexibility for product designers and engineers.
