Duvas Technologies is set to exhibit at Gulf Coast Conference. Taking place at the Moody Gardens Convention Centre in Texas (16-18 October), the event aims to inspire knowledge share across the petrochemical and refinery industries.

The Duvas team will be situated on Stand 424, showcasing its world-renowned DV3000 gas analysis device and offering insight to help companies protect the occupational health and safety of their workers.

The DV3000 uses state-of-the-art ultraviolet differential optical absorption spectroscopy (UV-DOAS) technology to provide real-time analysis of up to 14 gas species at concentrations of as little as two parts per billion (ppb). The system is used by companies worldwide to monitor levels of harmful toxins including benzene – a volatile organic compound (VOC) and known carcinogen.

Talking ahead of the conference, Steve Billingham, CEO at Duvas Technologies, said: “Over the past few years, improving air quality has become a key priority for governments worldwide. The USA is leading the way – especially the state of California, which recently introduced legislation mandating VOC monitoring through Bill 617.

“Petrochemical and refinery companies have a clear responsibility to ensure legislative compliance and minimise air pollution – both for the health of their staff and environmental impact to the local community. Our DV3000 technology provides an effective, real-time solution to monitor ambient VOC levels.

“We’re looking forward to exhibiting at this year’s Gulf Coast Conference and sharing our insight with delegates.”

The Duvas team will be on hand throughout the event to explain the technology behind its DV3000 and guide companies through the modern-day challenges of air quality monitoring.
