CI Systems is introducing MetCam, a cutting-edge Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS), using Quantifying Optical Gas Imaging (QOGI) to increase site safety and mitigate emissions. MetCam is a fully integrated autonomous system for detecting, monitoring and quantifying natural gas leaks, available for installation in hazardous locations (Zone 1, Class I Div. 1).

MetCam's innovative technology continuously monitors leaks and alerts users to the presence of hazardous clouds. The system covers a large volume and detects even the smallest gas leaks, allowing effective preventative maintenance operations to be conducted. By utilizing advanced algorithms, MetCam minimizes false alarms and operates reliably in demanding environments.

MetCam is designed for installation in a wide range of natural gas facilities, such as compression stations, natural gas skids, LNG gasification/liquefaction facilities, fueling stations, and offshore applications. The system supplies both visual and infrared video streams displayed in the control room using the standard ONVIF interface. It also provides industry-standard 4-20 mA output, allowing seamless integration into existing alarm systems.

MetCam is a reliable and maintenance-free device, requiring only periodic external cleaning to ensure peak performance. With its advanced technology and innovative features, MetCam is set to become the go-to device for natural gas facilities looking to improve site safety, reduce fugitive emissions and optimize their operations, making it the right solution for your gas detection needs.
