VERTILAS (Germany), a developer and manufacturer of power efficient and high performing laser diodes, announces that it has accomplished ISO 9001:2008 certification.

VERTILAS ISO 9001:2008 quality management system builds on the company’s stringent and comprehensive quality assurance procedures and its robust Indium Phosphide (InP) Buried Tunnel Junction (BTJ) Laser Technology. It encompasses the complete laser development and manufacturing flow to deliver reliable and high quality products for the sensing and communications markets.

The ISO 9001 certification presents a further step towards VERTILAS leading position in manufacturing and marketing long wavelength Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Lasers (VCSELs) on a world wide basis.
