Attendance Wins India Tradeshow Awards

Servomex’s (UK) recent attendances at tradeshows in India have received special awards from the organisers.

Servomex’s stands at the Automation 2013 and Petroleum and Natural Gas Conference & Exhibition 2013 (PNID) tradeshows were both recognised for the quality of their customer presentation. Servomex’s Mumbai team, who organised and manned the standards, were awarded first prize and third prize by the Automation and PNID organisers respectively.

The eighth Automation tradeshow of its kind, the Automation 2013 conference took place at the NSE ground Goregaon, Mumbai during 23-26 Sept 2013. With an exhibition focus that included factory automation, process automation and control systems and field instrumentation, Servomex exhibited alongside other leading global automation companies including GE, Chemtrols, Baumer, Magnetrol, Axis Solution, Steam Equipment, Pepperl + Fuchs (India) Pvt Ltd.

Servomex was award the first place Platinum award in the small stall category, where products exhibited included the Servotough FluegasExact flue gas analyser, Servotough LaserSP TDL analyser, Servotough OxyExact DF-310E oxygen analyser, Servopro Chroma Trace Analyser and Servpro MultiExact multigas analyser. Promotion was also given to the new OxyDetect oxygen detector, Servotough SpectraScan light hydrocarbon analyser and the Servomex Service Network.

The award was presented to Mr Virlesh Desai, General Manager, India by Mr B R Mehta, Senior Vice President of Reliance Industries, who chaired the Board of Governors at the show.

Servomex also won third prize for best stand at PNID 2013, a tradeshow held at Hotel Taj Palace, Sardar Patel Marg, New Delhi on 3 Oct 2013.

The show was organised by International Society of Automation (ISA) Delhi Section, who invited a range of public and private organisations to evaluate state of art technologies from global vendors. Opened by Dr Marpadi Veerappa Moily, Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Servomex presented alongside other key technology innovators including Bopp & Reuther, Axis Solutions, Pepperl + Fuchs India Pvt Ltd, Chemtrols Industries Ltd and Pyrotech Electronics.

Alongside the presentation of products on a stand manned by Servomex’s expert team in India, Mr Desai also presented a paper on the technology and benefits of Servomex’s new SpectraScan trace hydrocarbon analyser.

Servomex was awarded third prize in the best stand category.
