Three reasons to upgrade your gas analysis now

30 Jun, 2025

As technology constantly improves, Servomex is at the forefront of advancements with continuous upgrades and developments in its solutions to ensure safety, reliability, accuracy and efficiency in gas analysis.

The SERVOTOUGH SpectraExact 2500F is no exception. As the most advanced Photometric solution, the SpectraExact 2500F is the replacement for the older 2500E and earlier analyzers.

This highly flexible analytical solution is adaptable for many applications, including ethylene production, ethylene dichloride, PTA and carbon capture and storage.

Designed with the latest in digital communications for safe, remote operations, the SpectraExact 2500F is easy to use with low maintenance. It provides a real-time monitoring solution with field mounting capabilities that enable flexible use in the harshest process conditions.

Highly cost-effective and easy to use, the SpectraExact 2500F uses an intelligent design and non-depleting sensing technologies to help extend maintenance intervals and dramatically reduce ongoing costs. It features Modbus TCP (Ethernet) options and is ideal for diverse gas sample types (0-180°C/32-356°F and 0-150psig/0-10barg/0-1,000kPag).

High reliability is achieved through non-contact analysis techniques with the sample cell segregated from the electronics, and the use of field-proven non-depleting technologies for ease of maintenance and safety.

With compliance standards that include ATEX, UKEx, IECEx and North American hazardous area approvals (applied for), certified for gases and dust and certified to measure a continually flammable sample, the SpectraExact 2500F is a highly flexible analytical solution.

The iconic, industry-leading photometric SpectraExact 2500F also brings with it a new level of precision for liquid water analysis in EDC and VCM.

Servomex continually invests in its technology, with teams in the UK and USA working hard behind the scenes, developing, testing, and upgrading its products and systems to ensure they meet safety and reliability requirements, and to ensure customers meet their productivity and process objectives.

With many older SpectraExact 2500 analysers in the field now 20 to 30 years old, by switching to the newer model, users will see their analysers supported for years to come, while achieving accurate and reliable ppm to percent level measurements, something every plant operator is looking to achieve.
