New Sales & Marketing Director Appointed for Wireless Gas Detection Firm

GasSecure (Norway) announces the appointment of Ian Mackay as Sales and Marketing Director.

Ian joins GasSecure with 24 years of global sales and marketing experience in gas analysis and detection. Ian’s successful track record of pioneering business development includes seven years in Taiwan, four years in the USA and the remainder time travelling globally from the UK. Prior to GasSecure, Ian forged his career at Servomex, Ametek Process Instruments and most recently at the start-up technology company Senscient.

GasSecure CEO, Knut Sandven stated; “Ian has a perfect background to help GasSecure make our next phase of growth an incredible success. We are very happy to welcome Ian as part of our talented and dynamic team to promote the use of our SafeWirelessTM technology”.

Ian commented; “These are very exciting times at GasSecure as we are the leading edge in a breakthrough area for Safety Integrated Systems with the use of the GS01 wireless gas detector. I am thrilled to have this opportunity to introduce GasSecure and the GS01 to an unwired world”.

Ian is based in the UK but travels frequently to GasSecure’s expanding group of global clients and partners as well as leading staff at GasSecure’s HQ in Oslo, Norway.
