Endress+Hauser inaugurates Houston Campus

Endress+Hauser recently inaugurated its new state-of-the-art Houston campus, located in Pearland, TX on October 26. A $34 million investment has installed the globally renown instrumentation providers into a new, 112,000 sq. ft. facility which is located in the middle of the Gulf states, bringing Endress + Hauser’s world-class instrumentation, services and solutions close to local customers.

The new campus was designed with Endress + Hauser’s customers as the main priority, so it is set up for training, repair, and calibration services. Endress+Hauser’s support teams, which includes their inside sales and application engineering teams, will now offer localised, technical expertise for customers in the Gulf region. The training facilities include a cutting-edge PTU® (Process Training Unit) so end users can learn about IIoT capabilities, Bluetooth-enabled devices, and how to get the most from their Endress and Hauser instruments. There are 200 Endress+Hauser instruments as well as 7 tanks available for live training sessions, making the Houston PTU the largest training unit of its kind in the U.S.A.

The new facility is also equipped to carry out accredited instrument calibration for a wide variety of measuring principles which included flow, level, temperature, and pressure. These calibrations can be executed both at customer sites using a mobile calibration rig, or at the Pearland laboratory.

The campus was designed focusing on sustainability and the local architecture. The building has been designated as a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) “Silver” project as specified by the U.S. Green Building Council. The resultant green building design, operation and performance offers a true reflection of Endress + Hauser’s passion for sustainability.

The new facility will be home to the Global Marketing and Applications group for SpectraSensors Gas Analysis along with the Analytik Jena product lines for lab instrumentation. There is office space for 125 employees, which includes Endress+Hauser’s sales and service provider, Vector Controls and Automation Group.
