Varian Polymer Laboratories’ (UK) PlusPore series represents the very latest in GPC column technology. For high resolution polymer analysis,
the PlusPore product range exhibits a wide pore size distribution with near linear calibration curves covering an extended molecular weight range. These structures have increased pore volume compared to regular PS/DVB packing materials. PlusPore columns feature excellent chemical and physical stability and permit easy transfer across the full range of organic solvents with little change in the shape of the calibration curve or the efficiency of the columns.
This 'multipore' column technology eliminates the need for the combination of individual pore size packings, resulting in accuracy and
precision without any artefacts in the shape of the molecular weight distribution. The PlusPore series comprises PolyPore columns for the routine analysis of general polymers, ResiPore columns for the analysis of resins and condensation polymers, MesoPore columns for the analysis of prepolymers and low MW resins and OligoPore columns for the analysis of oligomeric samples.
