Teledyne Leeman Labs Introduces a New Instrument for the Analysis of Biofuels
Aug 26 2009
Teledyne Leeman Labs, a manufacturer of analytical instrumentation for elemental analysis, announces the release of a new instrument for the analysis of Biofuels – FuelPro Biofuel Metals Analyser.
The use of biodiesel as an alternative fuel source for biodiesel engines is expected to continue to increase. Made from feed stocks such as plant oils and animal fats, the use of biodiesel reduces the amount of toxic exhaust emission and greenhouse gases.
In order to insure quality, biodiesel is tested against standards such as ASTM D6751 or EN-14214.
Teledyne Leeman Labs has introduced the FuelPro Biofuels Metal Analyser specifically designed to test biodiesel for the elemental parameters specified in the ASTM and EN standards:
phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium and sulfur.
FuelPro is pre-programmed with all the methods to insure a smooth start-up. All reagents and training required to get you up and running are included. And, should regulations change, FuelPro is designed to be field
upgradeable.
FuelPro is designed to meet all your current biodiesel metals analysis requirements, with the ease-of-use, support and upgradeability to regulatory demands in the future. Teledyne Leeman Labs also supplies Biodiesel standards packages for use with both ASTM and EN Methods.
