Shimadzu (Germany), one of the worldwide specialist manufacturers of analytical instrumentation, expands its facilities tremendously for further education and training at the European headquarters in Duisburg, Germany. For its customers, new stations for chromatography, spectroscopy, TOC and testing machines will be available on more than 1,500 m2. And for the first time, mass spectrometry will have its own area. Shimadzu has influenced this technology significantly in recent years. In addition, laboratory spaces for customer applications and seminar rooms are being expanded.

The continuing advances in technologies, systems and methods in recent years require that customers are offered a larger, improved and more comfortable environment for further education and training. More stringent consumer and product safety regulations mean that testing and analysis needs will continue to increase in the future – and consequently the need for training.

Although Shimadzu has numerous testing and further education centres in Europe, the spacious and state-of-the-art laboratory and seminar rooms in Duisburg will attract customers and users from all over the continent. Düsseldorf airport, just 20 minutes away, connects to many cities throughout Europe. Duisburg is also well connected via the German motorway system.
