Data Platform Now Controls Agilent Gas Chromatographs and Autosamplers

Scion Instrument’s is pleased to announce that the CompassCDS data platform now controls Agilent model 7890/6890/5890 gas chromatographs and autosamplers. The CompassCDS data system, widely deployed in the hydrocarbon processing industry, currently provides users with control of the SCION 456/436, Bruker 4XX and Varian 450/3900/3800 GC’s and the addition of the Agilent GC drivers further enhances the capabilities of this software. The release of the Agilent GC control drivers also demonstrates Scion Instruments’ commitment to investing in the CompassCDS client server software product suite. As part of a driver exchange agreement, Agilent will also be releasing SCION/Bruker 4XX series GC  drivers for their OpenLab software.
