This innovative unified system revolutionises testing by seamlessly integrating mechanical evaluation, optical imaging, analysis, and reporting. Fully compliant with ASTM D5001, the BOCLE-ADV eliminates the need for a standalone microscope, streamlining workflows, reducing operator effort, and enhancing productivity. The BOCLE-ADV offers a range of advanced features designed to streamline testing and enhance laboratory efficiency. An integrated optical imaging module captures wear scar images immediately after testing, removing the need for a separate microscope and thereby saving both time and lab space. Its hybrid automated loading system automatically applies calibrated weights following pretreatment through a motorized, impact-free mechanism, ensuring consistent and repeatable results without manual handling.

The instrument supports a fully automated workflow, managing the complete testing sequence—from execution and imaging to measurement and report generation—for seamless operation. An inbuilt conditioned air unit utilizes programmed logic to control valves, regulate flow rates, and perform automatic phase switching, reducing reliance on the operator and simplifying the testing process.

A temperature control module maintains precise conditions as per ASTM D5001 standards, regardless of fluctuations in ambient lab temperature. Smart sensors and data acquisition systems monitor and log all test conditions in real time, assigning unique IDs for full traceability. The inclusion of Slide-n-Fit spacers allows for lateral offset of the lower ring, enabling up to ten tests per ring and improving consumable efficiency.

The BOCLE-ADV is also equipped with inbuilt diagnostics that proactively notify users of maintenance requirements, such as water levels and system pressure, helping to ensure continuous performance.
