OI Analytical’s (USA) new Selective GC Detectors brochure contains inform-ation on the use of selective GC detectors to measure trace levels of target compounds in the presence of higher concentration compounds or matrix interferences. The advantages of employing selective GC detectors in tandem with a GC-MS system for analysis of complex sample matrices are explained and an application matrix is provided.
