Automation Made Affordable – the 869 Compact Sample Changer
Oct 16 2008
One such standard application is the determination of the total acidity. It is applied to control the quality of dairy products, cereals, fruit juices and many other foods.
For most professional users, manual titration is not really an option since it is rather cumbersome and time consuming â especially if several charges need to be analysed. However, high costs have hitherto deterred many from automation.
Introduction of the 869 Compact Sample Changer has made this argument obsolete. Selling at a remarkably low price, the 869 Compact Sample Changer enables users to perform multiple determinations comfortably and without having to carry out numerous preliminary steps. Twelve positions are available for carrying out different titrations fully automatically and for rinsing or conditioning the electrode between determinations.
Operation is perfectly simple with three different method templates that
serve to set up and store application-specific methods. Via the USB
connection, the method can be printed out or saved electronically.
Further advantages of the 869 include a large live display informs the user about the status of the sample series and allows the series to be interrupted for the determination of urgent samples. The 869 Compact Sample Changer needs only the bench space of a typical analytical balance, thus saving valuable lab space.
