Epsilon 3^X EDXRF benchtop spectrometers, from PANalytical, are equipped with applications for most relevant norms and test methods like ASTM D4294, D6481 and D7751. 

Minimal sample preparation needed. Preassembled liquid cups are supplied for optimal reproducibility and repeatability. Just pour your oil sample in the liquid cup and measure it as is, no dilutions or filtration needed. Moreover, irregular shapes and larger samples, such as engine parts or cut-out pipe scaling can be measured as is.

Epsilon 3^X includes market-leading light element performance. Analysis of light elements like aluminium, silicon, phosphorus and sulphur, important for oil quality, benefit from improved detector technologies and optics.
