Two Application Notes available from G.A.S (Global Analyser Solutions, - the Netherlands) describe the comprehensive analysis of various refinery gas sample streams. The first note focuses on the use of the CompactGC, a 19” rack mount instrument that analysis 32 components in 200 seconds, including C6+ hydrocarbon fraction. The second note describes the Trace GC benchtop analyser. Both instruments use an independent 3-channel setup for best performance, optimal method settings and easy maintenance. The analysers are very robust and reliable by the use of proven GC technology like long life diaphragm valves or Valco rotary valves, housed in a very accessible valve oven. Both analysers comply with UOP 539, DIN 51666 (CO2 emission report available) and ASTM D2163.
