Automate Evaporation for Oil & Grease Analysis

The last step in modern gravimetric analysis of Oil & Grease samples is evaporation of the n-hexane solvent from the extract to isolate the material to be measured.

This can be done off-line to maximise productivity and minimise the chance for cross contamination with the next batch of samples.

The Speed-Vap III from Horizon Technology (USA) incorporates a vortex airflow, vacuum, and precise temperature control to provide quality evaporation with the best speed.

The Speed-Vap III System features: Bench-top operation to free up valuable hood space; Controlled evaporation for easy, reliable gravimetric results; Reduced exposure to hazardous solvents; Cuts evaporation times in half for increased lab productivity.
