The international regulations for low sulphur content in refined petroleum products such as gasoline or diesel are more and more demanding, and the levels are always pushing lower. Horiba Scientific offers the appropriate solution with the introduction of the SLFA-UV21A series.

This new model SLFA-UV21 ANS is based on the principle of combustion of a fixed volume of sample in a tubular resistance furnace at 1100°C. UV Fluorescence is used to analyse the SO2 gas produced during combustion, and nitrogen is measured by chemiluminescence.

The SLFA-UV21 ANS, a Sulphur & Nitrogen in oil analyser achieves a detection limit of 0.03 ppm S and 0.1 ppm N. Horiba Scientific.
