In a society where many industries are ‘tightening their belts’ and seeking ways to be greener there is an alternative to the typical Macro systems associated with TAN analysis. GR Scientific (UK) have developed the MicroTAN titrator dedicated to measuring Total Acid Number. The clue is in the name and no it’s not the smallest titrator in the world. In fact it is truly unique whereby only 25ml of organic solvent is used per sample compared to standard methods which can range from 60ml-120ml.

A reduction in solvent usage means less cost per sample and less solvent waste to dispose of.

High precision and dispensing accuracy is uncompromised due to the bespoke micro combination pH electrode and optimised titration vessel designed specifically for this system.

With many years of experience in the field of potentiometry, GR Scientific offer a full-support service and welcome the opportunity to discuss customer requirements.
