Fast and safe GC solution for impurity analysis in LPG

Impurities in liquefied gases often consist of high boiling or unstable components that complicate sampling. Their adsorption on vaporisers, valves and transfer lines increases discrimination and fractionation, while manual evaporation or liquid sampling valves remain labour-intensive and pose safety risks. 

The Liquefied Gas Injector (LGI) developed by Da Vinci Laboratory Solutions - standardised in ASTM D7756 and EN 16423 - provides a safe and accurate alternative for impurity analysis in LPG and other liquefied gases within 20 minutes. Installed on an Agilent GC with a dedicated controller, the LGI performs direct injection of the liquefied gas into the GC inlet. A Pressure Station keeps the sample in a liquid phase during the GC injection. This eliminates sample evaporation, minimises sample handling and ensures excellent repeatability. Since its introduction in 2010, the LGI has been adopted by leading oil refineries worldwide.
