CFR Engines Inc. new XLM Integrated Systems Module (ISM), provides a more compact and flexible cetane measurement facility with improved workflow efficiency. It has been developed to simplify the installation, operation, and maintenance of the IQT®-XLM: the next generation of IQT (Ignition Quality Tester) cetane Constant Volume Combustion Chamber (CVCC) instruments. The rugged ISM amalgamates the IQT ancillary components into a convenient roller cabinet base while providing the necessary storage for IQT tools and accessories.

The new XLM ISM can integrate IQT gas pressure regulation systems, with their included over-pressure protection systems, with either manual/mechanical or automated/electronic regulators. The automated pressure system provides two-way data communication with the IQT computer; compressed gas filtering is also included.

The system includes an integrated universal power transformer that offers compatibility with an extensive range of international electrical supply types, making “plug-and-play” installation possible in a majority of applications. The ISM improves the IQT-XLM’s portability and provides practical 360-degree access to the removable panels for service and maintenance. Service tools, spare parts and calibration accessories are readily available due to the generous storage in the ISM’s drawer and cabinet.
