Analytical instrumentation
Anton Paar’s next-generation Lubricant Measurement Systems are designed to revolutionize lubricant analysis – delivering rapid, multiparameter analysis in a single, streamlined setup.
Offered in two configurations, the systems simultaneously measure key parameters such as density, viscosity, and refractive index, while automatically calculating viscosity index and carbon-type composition – all within one integrated package.
Built for versatility, they support a wide range of lubricant types, from mineral and engine oils to insulating and cosmetic-grade white oils, thereby eliminating the need for multiple instruments or capillaries and significantly reducing analysis time.
Resource efficiency is a key feature of the systems. With only 12.5 mL of sample required and minimal solvent consumption, labs can significantly reduce waste and disposal costs. Integrated Peltier temperature control ensures thermal precision with low energy consumption.
Operation is easy, thanks to an intuitive software interface that simplifies every step. Measurement parameters and results are clearly displayed, and calculations are performed automatically by the integrated PC, enabling fast analysis with minimal training.
For laboratories looking to increase their throughput, the Lubricant Measurement Systems can also be paired with the Xsample 530 sample changer. This enables fully automatic operation, maximizing productivity while reducing manual handling and freeing up personnel to focus on other critical tasks.
Fully compliant with international standards such as ASTM D7042 for viscosity and ASTM D4052 for density, the Lubricant Measurement Systems ensure reliable and standardized results – making them a powerful, efficient, and cost-effective solution for laboratories and companies seeking to enhance their lubricant quality control.
