The flagship of GfG’s range of personal gas detectors is the multi-purpose Polytector III G999, which alerts the user of the nearby presence of up to seven hazardous gases and features an integral pump for confined space clearance.

The G999 will accurately monitor for dangerous oxygen levels and both toxic and flammable gases. This is also an ideal instrument for monitoring confined spaces such as manholes, tanks, and passages before and after entry. This ergonomically designed detector comes in 4 different versions and enables the reliable monitoring of dangerous gas hazards to personnel from a safe distance. The detector is easy to use, long lasting and reliable – offering workers peace of mind as they go about their daily tasks.

When an alarm threshold is reached the user will be warned by the G999 vibrating, sounding an alarm, and giving a clear, visual signal of the danger. This triple alarm ensures that operators will not overlook a potentially dangerous concentration of gas. This precise and reliable instrument also has the option of being fitted out with a radio module which sends readings, alarm incidents and connection status to a centralised control centre or GfG’s Connected Safety Monitor TeamLink, thus alerting safety personnel to any dangerous situations and facilitating.
