Tamson (The Netherlands) has introduced a new thermometer with 3 decimals. The TT-3 conforms to the requirements of IEC 751. With the use of glass thermometers being no longer acceptable in many laboratories Tamson offers an alternative solution using its TT-3 thermometer. The TT-3 handheld thermometer has 1 input; among its many features is the ability to store temperature readings and statistics that can be downloaded to a PC with the use of the free Tamcom Software. The TT-3 offers a combination of portability and high accuracy. The display readout is ± 0.001°C. System accuracies of 0.01°C are achieved with a stability of <0.01°C per year. Typical applications for the TT3 are the calibration of probes, thermometers, instruments, and indicators and temperature measurement of viscosity baths.
