The QuickTOC purity online TOC analyser from LAR Process Analysers AG is specifically designed for pure water analysis. The sample is injected directly into the reactor using a special injection loop, thus avoiding sample contamination from any pollutants in the ambient air. At the heart of the TOC analyser is the reactor, where thermal oxidation at 1,200°C takes place. At this temperature, the complete oxidation of all organic compounds to carbon dioxide (CO2) is guaranteed – without any need of oxidation promoting catalysts. The formed CO2 will be measured by an NDIR (non dispersive infrared) detector resulting in the exact determination of TOC. The QuickTOCpurity determines the TOC content within 3 minutes.

The TOC analyser can measure up to 6 sample streams in one unit. Due to the patented calibration and validation technique, called QuickCalibration, operators can check the analyser automatically and remotely at any time. Hence, time consuming preparation, costly liquid standards and on-site validation measurements are avoided.

LAR's QuickTOCpurity determines the TOC in less than three minutes and thus, allows the operators to take fast countermeasures in case of water pollution.
