Lubricant analysis
Ducom Instruments will host an online User Meeting on July 23, 2025, focusing on its highly advanced Four Ball Tester (FBT-3) platform. The event is being staged for both current users and those exploring precision tribological analysis, it will offer a forum for technical exchange and application-based learning.
The four-ball test remains a benchmark in the analysis of lubricant performance, especially in assessing wear prevention, extreme pressure resistance, and frictional behaviour under controlled conditions. The FBT-3 platform enhances the reproducibility and throughput of this method through a suite of automation and proprietary technologies.
The 2025 session will deliver a technical update on recent enhancements to the FBT-3 system, offering insights into workflow integration and instrument optimisation. Participants will have the opportunity to examine case studies detailing real-world deployment across industrial and research applications and engage directly with Ducom’s engineering team during a live Q&A session.
Researchers, lubrication engineers, and R&D specialists are invited to join the meeting and contribute to this knowledge-sharing initiative, which aims to advance collaboration and continuous improvement in tribological measurement.
The event will take place online from 14:30 to 16:30 CET on 23-July-2025, with registration open and free to attend.
