Yokogawa (The Netherlands) is experiencing strong growth globally as a market leader in the supply of instrumentation and automation systems within the processing industry. In parallel with this growth, Yokogawa has made a considerable investment, in order to continue providing customers with the best levels of service in the future.

In The Netherlands Yokogawa has merged the activities of its two main operating companies, Yokogawa Nederland B.V. and Yokogawa System
Center Europe B.V. under the new name of Yokogawa Europe Solutions B.V. This gives rise to a powerful operational organisation, which will
deliver optimum service to both the Netherlands market and international projects in supplying solutions for industrial automation. The result of
this merger is a new building in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, which Yokogawa will occupy at the end of 2008.

"The new office and merger of the operations will enable us to support our Netherlands customers and international customers better and
faster with reliable and fully integrated solutions, allowing us to expand our already strong position in the global market of industrial automation", comments Will de Groot, Managing Director of Yokogawa Europe Solutions B.V.: "Our customers will benefit from the knowledge and expertise gained by our project managers, engineering staff,
and service engineers in various industrial projects and applications. The merger enables us to focus on providing control and automation solutions across industries such as oil and gas, power, and
petro-chemical". The new premises will also house the regional head office for Europe and Africa. To accommodate the expansion of the
branch offices throughout Europe and Africa, the former Yokogawa Nederland N.V has now become Yokogawa Europe Branches B.V. and will
also be housed in the new premises.
