Global Technology Partnership for Gas Analysis Specialists
Jul 29 2009
Servomex (UK) is expanding its portfolio of industry-leading analyser technologies after agreeing a strategic licence to incorporate Norsk Elektro Optikk’s (Norway) Tuneable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS) technology into its global product range.
Norsk Elektro Optikk (NEO) - a world-leader in TDLAS - will license its laser technology to Servomex, providing the best solution for in-situ cross stack measurements suitable for a wide range of process and combustion control applications. Servomex will incorporate NEO’s technology into future product lines offering a complementary technique to traditional UV or IR measurements.
Able to detect a wide range of gases including O2, HCl, HF, NH3, CO, CO2, H2O, H2S, HCN, NO, N2O and CH4, TDLAS technology offers fast response times, highly stable performance and minimum sample conditioning requirements.
“This exciting agreement between Servomex and NEO enables us to incorporate NEO’s industry- leading laser measurement technology into our product range,” says Chris Cottrell, Managing Director, Servomex. “We are now able to provide a combination of world leading gas analysis technologies, allowing our customers to select the most effective solution for their application.”
“This new partnership is an extension of the cooperation the two companies have had for several years and we believe, through Servomex’s global sale network, that we can reach new customers and find new applications for our technology,” says Peter Kaspersen, Managing Director, Norsk Elektro Optikk.
