At a ceremony, May 16, 2016, in Washington, DC, Falcon Analytical (USA) was presented the President’s “E” Award for exports, by U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker. The “E” Award is the highest recognition any U.S. entity can receive for contributions to the expansion of U.S. exports.

Falcon’s primary product is the patented CALIDUS Gas Chromatograph. The company has sold CALIDUS systems to users in 15 foreign nations. Falcon’s export destinations have included Albania, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Norway, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and the UK.

U.S. companies are nominated for the “E” Awards through the Department of Commerce’s U.S. Commercial Service office network, within the Department’s International Trade Administration. Successive years of export growth and the demonstration of an innovative international marketing plan that led to the increase in exports are significant factors in selecting the winners.
