Crystal Engineering Corp. (USA) proudly marks 30 years in the pressure measurement industry with the announcement of David K. Porter as the new company president. Previously serving as vice president of engineering, Mr. Porter distinguished himself with Crystal customers, staff and distributors through his leadership in the design, development, and upgrade of the Crystal Engineering product line over the course of his nine-year tenure. Now he assumes oversight for the company at large.

With this announcement, Mr. Porter and the Crystal staff also pause to remember Tom Halaczkiewicz, former company president, who passed away in August 2011. Mr. Halaczkiewicz founded Crystal Engineering Corp. in 1982. In the years that followed, he steered the development of an international distributor network and pioneered the industry with successful products like the 30 Series Digital Pressure Calibrator, the XP2i Digital Pressure Gauge, and the nVision Reference Recorder.

Today, Crystal Engineering Corp. continues to produce highly accurate, field-grade testing and calibration equipment for measurement applications in oil & natural gas, offshore drilling, oil refineries, gas distribution, power generation, nuclear power, waste water, water supply, manufacturing, aerospace, and aircraft maintenance.

In assuming his leadership role, Mr. Porter promised, “The quality of our products will continue to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations, and we look forward to the next 30 years of innovation supported by our industry leading customer service.”
