President to Attend PEFTEC

ASTM International President Kathie Morgan will attend the second edition of PEFTEC (Petroleum, Refining, Environmental Monitoring Technologies Conference) in Antwerp Nov. 29 and 30. At a luncheon, she and others will discuss the important role of international voluntary consensus standards in the global economy and how those standards help companies achieve their business objectives. PEFTEC events are attended by analytical chemists, scientists, process operators, laboratory personnel, and environmental managers who work in refining, chemical, and petrochemical industries.
