ASTM’s monthly Reformulated Gasoline (RFG) and newly expanded Motor Gasoline Proficiency Testing Programs can help you

comply with the latest US Federal EPA guidelines known as Tier 3.

These regulations require all US facilities to conduct tests of every instrument with a commercially available check standard as

defined in D6299 (Standard Practice for Applying Statistical  Quality  Assurance  and Control Charting Techniques to Evaluate Analytical Measurement System Performance) at least three times a year.

In addition, facilities must test every instrument with a quality control material defined in D6299 weekly or every 20 production tests.

ASTM’s Proficiency Testing Interlaboratory Crosscheck Programs provide labs with a statistical quality assurance (SQA) tool, helping them improve and maintain a high level of performance in the use of ASTM methods and to compare with other labs worldwide.

Reformulated and Motor Gasoline Programs include:

•  Stable and homogeneous test materials with physical and chemical properties similar to typical samples

•  Electronic statistical summary report forms

•  Test  instructions for each cycle

•  24/7 access to custom PTP portal
