AMETEK HCC Interconnect Technologies (USA) has named Cyphen Ltd as distributor for its range of hermetically sealed connectors and electrical interconnection devices in China. HCC is a leader in highly engineered electrical connectors, terminals and headers for harsh environments and mission-critical electronics.

Founded in 1996, Cyphen has extensive experience in marketing and sales to the Chinese aviation, aerospace, railway, oil and gas industries. Head quartered in Beijing, it has sales offices in Shanghai, Xian and Chengdu as well as warehouse facilities in San Francisco and Paris.

“Our selection of Cyphen reflects the importance of our growing customer base in China,” said Liam Shanahan, Vice President and Business Unit Manager of HCC Interconnect Technologies. “We expect Cyphen to play a key role in the development of our business with its strategically located facilities, focus on high-reliability products, and proven ability to develop new business opportunities with reputable manufacturers.”
