US based Activated Research Company (ARC) has been awarded the 2015 Best New Product Award by the Gulf Coast Conference (GCC). The award honors new technology and innovation contributing to the advancement in chemical analysis technology in the Petrochemical, Refining, and Environmental fields.

The Gulf Coast Conference 2015 annual technical meeting was held on October 20-21 in Houston, TX. The two-day event gathered over 3,000 industry experts and featured the largest technical program in conference history.

ARC’s Polyarc reactor was recognized as the Best New Product for its novel design and universal application to scientists using gas chromatography (GC) with flame ionisation detectors (FID). It is designed to save users time and money while enhancing their analytical capabilities. Other competitors in the GCC New Product Showcase included products from companies such as Agilent Technologies, Thermo Scientific, PerkinElmer, and other industry leaders in chemical analysis technology.

“We are honoured to have our Polyarc reactor selected as the Best New Product and applaud the Gulf Coast Conference’s effort to connect industry experts through their annual conference,” says Andrew Jones, ARC’s Partner and Co-Founder. “We are pleased with the positive feedback from our existing customers and are encouraged by the significant interest in the Polyarc reactor.”
