Testing pressure devices in the field is always a challenge. Finding and addressing leaks and achieving a stable pressure are key to getting good pressure measurements. Ralston Instruments has developed the Quick-test system of hoses and adapters to allow the user to quickly connect and test pressure instruments up to 5000 psi / 300 bar or their Quick-test XT line for pressures to 10,000 psi / 700 bar. They use a unique sealing system that lets the user connect without thread sealant or a wrench and disconnect quickly to almost any process connection. Their low volume, microbore hose is excellent for testing and requires very little compressed gas or fluid to pressurise.

Ralston Instruments has just introduced the Pete’s Plug adapter that lets a user connect to any gas meter with a Pete’s plug for quick pressure tests.
