The new fully automated cloud and pour point tester from Normalab (France) offers ultra sonic sensor for POUR Point testing and pecific optical fibre for CLOUD Point testing. Visualisation of the different cooling steps is available, with options for detection every 3°C or every 1°C.

The Pour point describes a procedure for testing the fluidity of a petroleum product at a specified temperature. The Cloud point is defined as the temperature of a liquid specimen when the smallest observable cluster of wax crystals first appears upon cooling under prescribed conditions.

The NTE 450 60300 automated cloud and pour point tester from Normalab mimics the standard methods and comes equipped with a programmable cooling slope.

The measuring head can be quickly fixated, whilst it is possible to use the cloud and pour point tester on a multiple network or as a stand alone instrument.
