New biofuel analysis published by market research organisation the Bharat Book Bureau suggests that uptake of next-generation energy sources in China holds international opportunities for the industry.

Biofuels Market in China 2010 notes the driving forces behind the expansion of the market, including the move away from fossil fuels and the growing demands of the automotive sector.

The biofuel analysis suggests that second-generation energy sources, which offer high yields with low input energy required, are a particular growth strand for both domestic Chinese firms and their counterparts elsewhere around the world.

A separate report published by the Bharat Book Bureau looks at how environmentally friendly initiatives can be branded in different ways to appeal to consumers' desires across a number of criteria.

For instance, promotional activity can focus on "Zen-like simplicity" of solutions, on their human collaborative aspects, or on the option to use luxurious products without feeling a sense of guilt.
