Complete analytical systems for measuring inorganic, organic, or total carbon/sulphur in solid and/or liquid samples.

UIC’s CM140 system, which is widely used in the petroleum related sectors for measuring CO2/H2S in amine gas scrubbing solutions, includes their CM5017 coulometer for CO2 or CM5017S Coulometer for H2S measurements. UIC also offer a CM740 system for simultaneous measurements of CO2 and H2S, in amine scrubbing solutions. UIC’s coulometers require no user calibration, offer a wide and linear dynamic range, have a readability to 0.01 μg of carbon/sulphur, includes a user selectable display unit with a 12.1” fast-responding touch screen and they can store data on the included USB flash drive.

In addition to the CM5017 or CM5017S coulometer, UIC’s unit comes with a CM5330 acidification module that can work with 10, 25, 50, or 100-ml reaction vessels for sample loading. The acidification module has a selectable volume acid dispenser, an internal air pump with flow controller (external gas source can be used), controlled sample heating and stirring, a pre-acidification scrubber for removal of CO2 from carrier gas storage and post-acidification scrubber for removal of interfering compounds released during sample digestion.

UIC also offer the CM150 wastewater and organic carbon analysis system. This system includes a CM5017 coulometer, a CM5330 acidification module and a CM5300 horizontal furnace which is used for the measurement of total and/or organic carbon content. It includes a pre-combustion scrubber for removal of CO2 from carrier gas and post scrubbers for removal of interfering compounds.
