GC Program Upgraded with New Equipment and Systems
Nov 20 2009
Shimadzu Scientific Instruments (USA) updated its existing System GC Program to include the GC-2014 gas chromatograph. In addition, the program now offers newstreamlined systems for natural gas, transformer gas and greenhouse gas analysis, as well as biofuels and biomass feedstock research. Shimadzu’s modular GC-2014 Series, the workhorse of the System GC Program, is suited for a wide range of applications, from capillary to packed column analysis. The GC-2014 holds four detectors and seven heated zones with 12 channels for advanced pressure control. It also offers 16 programmable relays and a large oven to accommodate many columns.
Each Shimadzu System GC is customised with a gas chromatograph, valves, an inert treatment for the analytical flow path, and installation and start-up supplies. The program provides customers with the best applicated and fully configured GC products. Each system is tested in Shimadzu’s System Integration Technology Lab and shipped with proof of performance, QA/QC and a field test standard.
