Restek (USA) announces a new PLOT (Porous Layer Open Tubular)  column line featuring an innovative bonding technology that minimizes particle release. Reduced particle release means less column blockage, which protects instrument parts and provides greater flow stability. Improved flow stability results in very stable retention times, making these columns ideal for Deans and related flow switching techniques. Outstanding peak symmetry is observed and results in accurate impurity analysis for gases, solvents, and hydrocarbons. This innovative stabilization technology is currently applied to both fused silica (Rt®-Alumina BOND, Rt®-Msieve 5A, Rt®-Q-BOND, Rt®-QS-BOND, Rt®-S-BOND, and Rt®-U-BOND) and metal (MXT®-Msieve 5A, MXT®-Q-BOND, and MXT®-Alumina BOND) PLOT columns.
