One of the major challenges in automatic distillation is controlling the heater so that IBP, distillation rate (4-5 ml) and FBP are detected and controlled according to the method specifications.
This requires accurate volume measurement and speed detection as early as possible, as well as smart calculations to quickly change heater power on the fly.
The Orbis PAMv2 does exactly this, and its unique automatic performance is displayed especially when testing the most difficult products.
