For several years Gecil Process (France) has been manufacturing a very simple and efficient bench top washer to clean all type of viscosity capillary tubes such as Cannon, Fenske, Ubbelohde, Zeitfuchs, Asphalt etc.. 6 tubes will be clean and ready to be use again within 5 to 20 minutes, even for very hard to clean samples such as Tar, Asphalt, Resins, Glues, Polymerized products, Plastics Etc.

This small unit can be installed under a hood or on the lab bench.
It uses only one litre of non-flammable and non-aromatic solvent to clean a maximum of 6 capillary tubes at a time. The average consumption of cleaning solvent is about one to two litres per week allowing to decrease drastically your laboratory solvent usage, to reduce the exposure of operators to solvent, as the VW6 is a close system.
