Gecil Process’ (France) new Gecdist 1160 V6 is specifically designed for stand alone operation in local mode for QC laboratories that do not need sophisticate reporting capabilities and who are working to a tight budget.

In 1985; Gecil Process became the first manufacturer to introduce a fully automatic distillation unit in accordance with ASTM method D1160 . Since 1985 Gecil have improved the electronic control and accuracy of their instruments to finally offer to their end users the well known Minidist 1160 V6. Based on the demand of many QC laboratories in the petroleum , petrochemical and bio fuels sectors, Gecil are now offering a light version of the Minidist 1160.

The Gecdist 1160 V6 having all the same process and method capabilities but with reduced capabilities to communicate to an external PC via Ethernet interface in a Windows format . With such a model, Gecil can also deliver their instrument without several key elements such as the current vacuum pump , circulating bath with thermostat , heating mantle , pressure sensor and other apparatus of the laboratory manual D1160 set up .
